Mental illness is not an egg.
I have not cracked up.
My brain is not scrambled or fried,
and I am not devilled.
You cannot cure mental illness by releasing the devil out of me,
because the devil is not in me.
My brain is not cracked, scrambled, fried or devilled.
Those are words used to describe an egg,
not a person.
Stop the stigma.

Thank you. I am happy you liked my short and simple silly little poem. Sometimes the shorter ones are better, I guess. The word of the day was egg… and this is what came to my mind. I am happy you liked it. I am doing well. Thank you for asking. It is a good day and I always appreciate when my days are good and try not to ever take the goodness of any day for granted, especially with this illness. I hope you are doing well too. Have a happy and healthy and fabulous day. Hugs, Sue
