Dear Friends,
There’s a virus spreading across America. It harms the 1 in 5 Americans affected by mental health conditions. It shames them into silence. It prevents them from seeking help. And in some cases, it takes lives. What virus are we talking about?
It’s stigma. Stigma against people with mental health conditions.
But there’s good news! Stigma is 100% curable. Compassion, empathy and understanding are the antidote.
Your voice can spread the cure. Together we can #CureStigma.
May is Mental Health Awareness month. So next month, NAMI be kicking off their biggest awareness event of the year — Mental Health Month!
Here are three simple steps you can take to be part of the #CureStigma movement today:
Now is the time to raise your voice! Together we can offer hope. Together we can #CureStigma. Please join NAMI and I in making May 2018 the best Mental Health Month yet!
Much love and hugs,
Sue

You are welcome, but I didn’t write it. It was an email from NAMI I copied and pasted mostly. I’m just the messenger. 😊

I had a “bipolar day” from extreme good to extremely bad. I will fight my way out of this despite the ups and downs on the way. Thank you so much for asking and caring.

You had a rapid cycling day. I know those days and moments so well. I hope you climb back up to the hypomanic mood pole and stay there. You will make it. Your getting there. 😊❤ Sue
