I have hit the restart button of my life many times.
It doesn’t matter how many times you hit the restart button of your life.
The beauty is knowing that there is a restart button in your life.
The gift is having the opportunity to start-up your engine again.
The lesson is knowing you have the strength to restart your engine,
and the courage to persevere,
after your engine has died.
Every once in a while, we need a tune up to make sure our engines run well, smoothly and at their optimum levels.
Sometimes our engines need repairs and new parts.
Remember after you restart your engine of life,
you can become better and stronger than you were before your engine died.

Be that little or big engine that could…
I Know I Can
I know you can.
Don’t give up.
The absolute greatest, biggest, brightest, best and most beautiful moments in life
lie just beyond the darkest days.
I can’t wait to reach that moment.
I am stretching and working on reaching it now.
Step by step.
Piece by piece.
Little bit by little bit.
When I write my posts,
most of my words and messages are words I need to tell myself.
I need to hear them and I share them with you,
hoping and praying they will help you even more than they help me.
I have not had enough courage quite yet to read all of your loving posts from that night or morning of my suicide attempt. I am almost there and I want to thank you with the best possible post I can make. I am not quite ready yet, but it will be here to share with all of you soon. One day the time will be perfect to write it…
Meanwhile, I want to thank all of you, every single one of you beautiful, loving, amazing fabulous people for saving my life.
As I wrote that sentence, it brought tears of love and joy to my eyes, from all the love and support and encouraging words you all gave me. Please know I know what you did. You saved my life. How amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul.
I love all of you beyond any words I can truly and properly express. How on earth can you really and properly say thank you enough and loud enough and beautifully enough to so many loving people who care and saved my life. There doesn’t seem to be words that are good enough or pretty enough or big enough, really.
So for now…
THANK YOU AND KNOW THAT I LOVE ALL OF YOU BEYOND WORDS AND MEASURE.
Here is an oldie but a goody… full of encouraging and inspiring lyrics…
“Step by Step” by Whitney Houston
As I’m going on my journey
Oh, I might be lost
Well no-one told me just how to get there
But when I get there I’ll know
Cause I’m taking it
Stone By Stone (Yeah), Brick by Brick (Oh, yeah)
Step By Step, Day By Day, Mile by mile (ooh, ooh, ooh)
So many dangers along the way
So many burdens might fall upon me
So many troubles that I have to face
Oh, I won’t let my spirit go
Until I get to my destination
I’m gonna take it slowly cause I’m making it mine
Stone by stone (yeah), brick by brick (brick by brick by brick by brick mm)
Step by step (step by step uh-huh), day by day (day by day-ee),
Mile by mile (ooh), go your own way.
You got to hold on to what you got,
Oh, baby, don’t give up,
You got to keep on moving on don’t stop (yeah yeah).
I know you’re hurting, and I know you’re blue,
I know you’re hurting but don’t let the bad things get to you.
Stone by stone (stone by stone yeah), brick by brick (brick by brick by brick by brick),
Step by step (i’m gonna take it now), day by day (day by day),
Mile by mile (ooh), go your own way!
I’m taking it step by step), bit by bit,
Stone by stone (yeah, stone by stone), brick by brick
Step by step keep on moving, day by day (day by day-ee),
Mile by mile by mile by mile, go your own way,
C’mon baby got to keep moving, bit by bit (bit by bit, bit by bit)….
