I pray to be saintly,
even just faintly,
living my life
serving the Lord.
I pray to be more Jesus like,
in all that I do and am.
God has saved my life numerous times,
and has blessed me, beyond the greatest of blessings.
I am thankful for everything I have and everything I am.
If my heart is thankful,
I have no room for regret.
If my heart is forgiving,
I have no room for anger and resentment.
When I forgive,
I release my wounds and set them free,
opening my heart for more room to love again.
For my healing and recovery,
it is essential for me to forgive others and myself,
and to be thankful and appreciative of everything I have.
I do not take my life, or even a one good moment for granted,
because I never know how long they will last.
I appreciate fully and completely a great moment,
and today is a great moment and it is a great day.
Thank you, God.
