Words That May Save Your Life
Please watch and listen…
(Sentences, phrases, statements, truths, and words of wisdom from the video. This is not the entire script verbatim, but are notes, words and inspirational and beneficial messages I have taken from this video).
“Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage. Rage. Against the dying of the light.
When they feel free to commit suicide, they do not really have to commit suicide.
It reduces anxiety.
You have to save your own life. No one can save it for you. You have to do what you have to do. No matter what it is.
Whatever pain you are going through you will transcend it. It is not a matter of how. It is a matter of when. It already has happened. You just have to walk the path.
You can stand up and fight.
Refuse to give in and refuse to let this suffering crush you with its weight.
I want you to get mad.
I am a human being.
My life has value.
Depression is not only normal, it is essential.
You need that pain, that suffering, that digging and that turmoil to get rid of all of the impurities that allow the seeds to grow to their fullest potential.
It is good for you to go through these seeds.
You evolve.
You grow.
Depression is not only normal, it is essential.
Be grateful for it. It allows you to reorder yourself at a higher level.
See it as you see winter, and winter always leads to Spring and summer again.
See it as you see nighttime. Nighttime becomes daytime again.
I am going to offer you a challenge. I challenge you to accept your situation.
Accept yourself as you are right now.
I challenge you to get out of bed, out of your house and most importantly,
I challenge you to get out of your own head.”
Is this the one? I really like it. Especially the bit about winter becoming spring and summer again. It’s lovely..I’m really touched and I will try to apply it. I already do but still, this helps. Love, Lucy 💕
