Physical health is something everyone has.
Heart disease is a physical illness.
Many people have heart disease, but I do not have heart disease.
Mental Health is something everyone has.
Bipolar disorder is a mental illness.
I have bipolar disorder, but not everyone has bipolar disorder.
We all have physical health
and we all have mental health.
Our overall physical health includes mental health.
Everyone in the world has physical health, you may not have a physical illness but you have physical health that you want to keep healthy.
Everyone in the world has mental health, you may not have a mental illness but you have mental health that you want to keep healthy.
Do not be afraid of mental health.
Do not be afraid of the words mental health.
They are just words.
Please, speak the language of mental health and mental illness kindly and correctly.
When you are speaking about mental health, it is not a negative thing.
Mental health is an overall well-being of your brain and mind that you must take care of and keep healthy.
Mental illness is a mental health illness and it is not a mental health issue. It is beyond an issue.
When you use the word issue, it minimizes mental illness and the disease of mental illness in our brains, making it seem like mental illness is not as serious as it is. An issue sounds to me like it can be resolved without medical intervention or care and that is completely false and wrong.
Choose your words correctly. People have dummied down words associated with mental health, mental illness and mental disease for too long. People must have thought it would help people feel comfortable speaking about it, but it has only negatively interfered and slowed down the progress of care and treatment of the 1 and 4 people living with a mental illness.
Stop the stigma.
Open your mind to what mental illness is.
Be empathetic, compassionate, and caring people.
Love one another. Love everyone. Love all of us.
Please STOP being afraid of the two teeny tiny words “mental health” as everyone has mental health.
Please STOP being afraid of the two teeny tiny words “mental illness” as it is just an illness that happens to be in the brain and it is not caused by a character flaw or weakness. No one causes mental illness.
Please STOP being afraid of the two teeny tiny words “mental disease” because a mental disease is what a mental illness actually is.
A mental illness is a disease inside our brains.
Remember mental health is not an illness, but is part of our overall mental well-being of our brains and our minds we must take care of and keep healthy.
Do not be afraid anymore.
Stop the stigma of mental illness.
Puncture out the stigma of mental illness,
set it completely free.
Stop the stigma.
