I love this quote so I wanted to reblog it. This comes from a blog from a beautiful young lady who is a very talented writer but the subject she is writing about is very sad. I love reading her blog thought because I love her style of writing. Her writing is so heartfelt it reaches deep into my heart touching it and sometimes breaking it as if I can feel her pain and sorrow from her words. Check out her blog. I feel for her and my heart goes out to her. She is a very talented writer with an ability to convey her feelings in a deep touching heartfelt manner.
Grief is not a disorder, a disease or sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.
I share my story openly and honestly to educate others and increase the awareness of mental illness, reduce stigma, prevent suicide, to inspire, give hope and let God's love shine through me and touch you.
I finished writing, proofreading and editing my memoir in January of 2019. I am in the process of sending my manuscript to agents and publishers that accept unsolicited maunscripts. I pray my words will turn into a book that will inspire and spark joy and hope in the lives of many. Recovery and healing are possible. I am living proof.
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." ~Maya Angelou
